How to I do to disable tapping on the built in mouse?

On my MSI GT70 with W7, there is a extra tab, "Device Settings", in Mouse Properties, so there it's easy to change.

This doesn't exist on my new Asus G750JH with W8. How do I do to change it?

Asus Smart Gesture is a Systray accessible app. The icon looks like a little trackpad.

Different drivers, that's why. I think you're referring to the Synaptics settings; those integrated settings come with the driver for the trackpad. hmscott has you covered though with his pictures. :)

MANY thanks hmscott!

I fixed it in "ASUS Smart Gesture". Now I don't have this hazzle with the bloody tapping and all other stupid features any more.
