Ok so i got curious on how many FPS on average i should be getting on my system with my games. I tried looking up some videos for my system on youtube and I suddenly realized that the people posting were getting exceedingly higher FPS than me:

This guy says he get 25-30 FPS with FRAPS with these settings http://imgur.com/25ol9, I emulated everything in this video (including ice enhancer) and my FPS came out to 12-22 FPS without fraps

This guys has about the same system (setting are in description) and his benchmark came out to 39 FPS Avg. my system gave me around 18 FPS avg. with everything in video emulated.

These FPS are actually the same I have been getting since the day I unboxed my system so now im thinking that i have had a faulty rig this whole time without knowing it. I would like to know if the videos posted are actual representations of what i should expect from my system or if what i am getting is nothing to worry about.

Don't always believe what you see. People can be not so honest. Also, he may have overclocked his rig, or tweaked the drivers. OC'ing can help somewhat, at the cost of increased heat. Check which version of drivers he is using, as nVidia drivers are contiuously being optimized for better performance.

No, you don't have a faulty rig.

If you are worried about your performance, run a version of 3D mark, and I will too, since I own a G53SX, and we can compare. Here is a review with benchmarks:
