I see several brands with 120, 256, 300, 320 Gb. and they all have different specs.
What would be the best?

best as in max read/write ?
or best as in reliabilety?
or best as in average consistent read/write?

in mine I have a INTEL 330 SERIES 2.5" 120GB SSD, but in my desktop I have a 120gb hyperX and a 120gb (cant remember brand), all in all I would say go for a high reliability, you can google that. since read/write speed are very close with most SSD.

Requirements are 2.5" SATA 3, 9MM height max, you can save a little money with a 120 GB, 256 GB seems to be the sweet spot, Samsung 840 Pro seems to be top dog presently. Intel 520 series seems to be very reliable. We've only seen a few issues with any of the brand Names. Google it and read a few reviews and comparisons. There all extremely fast some have 3 year warranty some have 5 year warranty
