im getting similar results, but wouldn't repasting void the warranty?

yep, if you do that it will void warranty.

is there somewhere where we can take it to get it "officially repasted" without voiding the warranty, isn't 93 degrees Celsius a little close to being dangerous to keep the cpu at? (not all renders are <60 seconds)

It's impossible to realize that it was repasted.
Otherwise, it was a lousy job dear Asus.
The paste is approx. 5-10 years old.
It was completely dry, dusty piece.

Well... if the temps go from 90+ degrees down to 70 degrees or so afterwards?

impressive drops actually. especially on cinebench benchmark test.

Believe it or not though, ASUS does use good Thermal paste, but it's a cheap and efficient type. not premium of course.

usually, with any laptop. if you repaste, you get atleast a good 5 to 15c drop if done well
