Hi!

Just got my Asus G750JX home and Im very pleased except for one thing. The clear plastic power button is scratched or has glue on it or something. Have you noticed the same?

It's the protective film.

Dont think so :( There is nothing to peel off.

The button has angles of reflection and a light underneath, it is possible that you are seeing an optical aberration, so I took a photo of my JX power button for you for comparison. Take a flash photo and see what you see up close like this photo.

This is my power button :( My bad luck.......Now i already installed a ssd an stuff so I dont know if ill bother return it

Yipieeeee! Most of it was glue and I was able to remove it :) Now Im happy as a clam about my nice power button hehe

Cool, looked like it might be from use, stuff clinging to the plastic, glad it was :)

These black on black on shiney features are hard to keep clean. I keep the white sheet that came to protect the screen from keyboard marks on top of the laptop at all times, and use a wireless keyboard (usb dongle, not Bluetooth), so I can keep the laptop clean.
