Hi,

I've had intermittent problems with the built-in camera on the laptop for a while, where it would sometimes work on a boot up, and then on other times it wouldn't.

I just did a fresh install of Windows as I got a new hard drive, and thought that might solve it, but it hasn't, so I need some advice.

In the device manager, the camera is coming up as an "Unknown Device". I have uninstalled it and let windows automatically detect it and the drivers, but this doesn't work as I don't think Windows knows it is a camera, and hence can't find any relevant drivers. The error in Device Manager is: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I couldn't find any Asus Webcam drivers listed on the site. I have the Virtual Camera and LifeFrame 3, but they already assume the installation of the webcam drivers. I have read most people just have Windows automatically install the Microsoft drivers, which clearly aren't working for me.

Any idea where to get the Asus webcam drivers?
