Install hwinfo64 (http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php), run the sensors, you will see what your fans are doing. You will also see what you temps are CPU And GPU and lots of other things about your NB.

I would run something intensive, just to make sure. It's possible that you aren't hearing the fans, since they are really quiet, especially at idle. @Clintlgm's advice is good, run hwinfo64 while playing a game.

Yes...as u said i'm not hearing any sound or air out from the right vent, where as i hear sound and air out from right vent.

That is not a good sign. Is it possible that the G46 only has one real fan? That, or one of your fans has failed.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but
The G46 has 2 fans. The G46 has 2 vents - 1 real, 1 fake just for symmetry.

That's what I thought I remember. I did some quick Googling, and I only see one fan in the one disassembly picture I could find that was any use. However, there might be another on the other side of the notebook.

Look at about the 1 minute mark of this reassembly video, especially when he's flipping the motherboard over. It LOOKS like there are two fans, but i could be mistaken. Hard to believe there's no G46 owner here that can provide the definitive answer.

As you said there will be 2 fans available in G46

I had installed MSI afterburner and increased the load on GPU which leads the fan running.

Thanks a lot for the help
