Hi Folks,

I took a dive, bought and installed the Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6235 (802.11agn). I have uninstalled the old card drivers, shut down and installed the card. The WiFi works great and I am very happy.

However, I cannot seem to get the Bluetooth working? I have tried to pair 2 of my BT headphones, they shake hands but cannot work. They say I am missing a bluetooth driver. I have installed the latest Intel 6235 drivers and still no luck.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

:)Hi
I have installed Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 card in my G74SX it is running fine full speed 866,7 when i am in the same room as the router ( ASUS RT-AC68U ) when i am going to the joining room behind a brick wall it is 702 to 390 average is 580 and the most steady speed.Blutooth is working fine to.Installed the newest driver and software plus blutooth software from intel.
I had the same trouble with performance dropping to 11 when i was using an older Trendnet 300N router with usb printer/harddrive connection and no blutooth working. This i got working by reinstalling usb server software to the router.
In controlpanel this fixed the problem with missing usb unit
plus
UDS Master Bus of Kernel USB Software Bus by TCP

Hope this might help some of you

I recently installed the ac-7260. Wifi works great. Bluetooth isn't showing up. Any idea? I've played around in the device manager. Installed, re-installed drivers. I don't even see a bluetooth device in the device manager. Asus G74sx Win 7.

Just purchased this Intel 7260 dual band ac card not long ago. having issue with 5ghz band, using rt-ac66u router and 5ghz is not stable at all although it shows a 98+ mbps speed in speed test but the connection suffering ping problem.
i have so far 3 pieces of laptop suffer the same issue .
I have a few Question
Does antenna wire in the laptop have bandwidth compatibility issue? ( mean they only respond to 2.4Ghz and weak at 5Ghz unless they are dual band ). because in ebay, they do write dual band supported thus i not sure my 5ghz issue is that antenna issue or wifi card issue

as for the Bluetooth issue the guy who sold me this card tell me instead bluetooth driver 1st then follow by wifi driver then install the card to avoid bluetooth unable to detect issue. if u cant find ur bluetooth u may try a troublesome step
1. download both BT n wifi driver
2. shut down and take out the wifi card, restart
3.uninstall all intel PROset driver and restart
4.install BT driver first then following by wifi driver and then shut down ur laptop
5. put back the wifi card and start up
so far it work on those computers i done with upgrading.
