Hi guys,

I own a G53SW and I've been having this issue for months, but now it seems permanent. The problem is that the screen appears green and ficlkering where it should be black. It's been happening since August, but back then it only happened if I pressed the lower left corner of the keyboard, or when the laptop was on an uneven surface. Connecting a monitor via HDMI or VGA works fine.

Now it's stuck like this and I could send it to ASUS for repairs but I bought the laptop refurbished and am not sure how my warranty situation is.

Is it a easily fixable problem? My first guess is that it's just that the cable between the screen and the gpu is a little loose, but if it's anything bigger than that I'd do better sending it for repairs.

you can sent your SN to service center to check your warranty status, i think refubished still have warranty, but time need check it.
