first of all, will ssd work with the asus g75vw if i alrdy have a 1tb hdd 5400rpm.

Yes this will fit and work, 9mm thickness is the maximum. this one appears to be 7mm
you have 2 hard drive bays so should be no problem. See this thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?28758-GUIDE-G55-G75-Upgrade-Notes&p=220232#poststop) for how to do it. Also this thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?14583-Upgrading-the-G75VW&country=&status=)will show you how to physically put the drive in.

ty for respond, but will it work with my current hdd? i heard that it had to be the same capacity as the harddrive, is that true?

is it faster than the one i linked? and how do i set it up do i have install windows on it or raid it? i'm sorry i'm kind of new at this.

Which SSD you buy is personal preference, The Samsung 840 Pro seem to be the top of the line currently, still all brands are very good.
Please read the threads I linked for you in a previous reply they will explain to you completely how you will add the SSD, show you how to either clone you current hard drive to your SSD. Or Clean install your OS to your new SSD.
No you would NOT RAID a SSD with a Hard drive!
