When I play a video on youtube or any other site I have an issue with the video skipping during playback even when it is fully buffered. The video will have a momentary skip every 10 seconds or so. Also, when I plug in an additional monitor to the computer I get horizontal lines that do not load properly here and there. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening it seems almost like the computer can't handle processing the video. Anyway, if anyone has had this problem or knows a possible solution I would greatly appreciate the help.

are you using the ASUS driver for your GeForce or the nVIDIA ones?

I had such issues with the nVIDIA ones the ASUS ones are much better

Where did you get the asus drivers. I am having an issue finding them. They are not on the asustek website where I usually get my drivers

Gamers on these forums will always tell you to install the latest ones from nVIDIA as they offer better performance in some games!

I have tested both the latest nVIDIA Drivers from nVIDIA vs. the ones from ASUS.

While it is true that the latest ones from nVIDIA may or may not offer better performance, the ones from ASUS are more stable and tested to work 100% on YOUR specific laptop

Example, with the latest drivers from nVIDIA, my 2D performance sucks in Windows, even simple card games online are very choppy, that's why I always stick to the ASUS ones

remember to always check the Clean Install box and then choose custom, then deselect GeForce experience so it won't update automatically to the latest nVIDIA Drivers:
