Hello,

All of the multifinger gestures for my Asus G75VW don't seem to be working :/ This has been a problem for me since I had the laptop, and everything I have tried does not seem to fix the problem. I was wondering if anyone has the same issue and has found a fix for this problem?

I updated to Windows 8.1 hoping it would fix the problem, but it still presists.

Thank you!

please push a two fingers on the touchpad, then slide fingers.

Alright, so I downloaded the newest driver I could find on the Asus support website. When I double click the mouse settings, I am prompted with this:

None of my multifinger gestures work, still :(

Yes, I tried, but unfortunately that doesn't help either :P

Thank you, though

I don't think I should send in my laptop for something that is more than likely a software issue...

if you hit function and f9, does it turn off your trackpad? if not, then you have more drivers to install, I had to install 2 different ones from the asus site. Until I had both, my 2 finger scroll would not work, as will as function f9 for turning it on and off. After I installed both, it all worked fine, I can look up which two I used if you need me to.

Hmm, Fn+F9 does turn off the trackpad... Do you have links from where you downloaded the drivers? As far as I remember, I have only installed one driver...

I am running WIndows 8.1 64bit

ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities version V1.0.0026
and
Synaptics Touchpad driver version Version V16.2.11.7
and maybe
Intel INF Update Driver version Version V9.3.0.1025

both from http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/G75VX/#support
is what it took for it to work on mine, I don't know if it needs all of them or not, but I now that did not work on my end until I installed them.

Also, mine is a g75VX and I have a clean WIn 8 Pro install on an ssd

(I would assume you only need the Synaptics one, but idk...I also did all windows updates)

I ended up sending the laptop in to ASUS because some keys were randomly popping off (on a six month old laptop, seems quite ridiculous). I noted on the RMA forum that the trackpad was having multfinger issues, so hopefully it'll return without any issues.

I appreciate your help :)
