That looks fantastic man! Steve's work is looking as good as ever. Assuming redundancy, 25 terabytes is just insane. Must be quite the media collection. ;)

My current WHS is 10 terabytes and almost full so this is future proofing.

I've been meaning to back up a lot of my stuff and get it on a server. I've not wanted to spend the cash on all those drives yet. Maybe I'll get around to it someday.

I am waiting on a custom GPU block from Danger Den and new painted front panel to arrive. In the meantime I am reworking my Brimstone build which will be in the ASUS booth at BlizzCon.

Hope to have it done in a week or so (waiting on a 460 to arrive). Stealthed the PSU area and got a little lighting done (will try to make it more even behind the Empire Logo). I will make a wire shielding piece to cover the area were the sata cables go to the non-mobo side (out of white acrylic). This build will be in Western Digital's CES meeting area.

they are color-changing lights (can make them any color and also make them fade from one to another color.

Not going to swap out drives but WD said they will supply me with some 3 terabtye drives anyways

That's even better, color-changing lights will change colour according to the mood. :)

Just have to install the OS, make a 'shield' to stealth where the SATA cables enter the back side of the case, and add some more lighting including a couple white LEDS behind the resevoir

I have to admit, when I read these specs and looked at the pictures, the first thing that popped into my head was Joe Swanson from Family Guy screaming, "Peter, how do afford these things?!"

HAH! .. I was thinking the same exact thing. Asking what that costs seems almost on par with asking a woman how old she is...

Don't get me wrong, DB still puts a lot of his own time & money into building PCs, but he has the advantage of being able to leverage sponsorship for a lot of his projects. So it's a combination of having some play money and also the smarts to get other people to pay for things whenever you can.

He does great work on his builds and really gives back to the community when he can. Its great to have guys like DB around!

Sponsorships are sweet, but when you think about it, 25x WD green 2tb is only $1750, and some people are content to pay that just for a CPU and board. I think it'd have been worth it even if he had to pay. This thing is sick.

Now the 3tb deal is definitely sweet, since 25 of those would be $3500

This is actually where I first saw this build, then I saw it in some videos of pax. It was after all of this that I discovered you were on this forum Beavis. I know I stated this in another thread but it deserves to be stated again: Great job on the build man, top notch and deserving of awe!
