From what i've read, only partner laptops are getting that cpu.
Does that particular processor claim that? Intel here (http://www.intel.com/technology/anti-theft/laptops/index.htm).

here is a link of where I bought my laptop from, in case some suspicions on me.....
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=635753#extra
the site is in Norwegian, so look at the line named (Use Ctrl-F): 4th "Egenskaper" and read the text to the right.

I will also take a picture from my bios.....
Pictures: (had to remove the mess around the laptop, not cool to watch)

Unless one of the Asus techs, or other Intel Masters knows different.. I dont think Asus laptops do this.
Unless you are thinking its just a matter of unlocking it somehow.
Which is always possible I guess.

Suspicions??? Of an IraqiBoy in Norway ?? hahahhaa...Not here.. We are all here to ROG, worry not.
Hope this works out...thats a nice feature..would be handy for any lappy, or a desktop today, for that matter. LockItUp,
Make it a waste of time to steal any computer. I like it.c.

TO ALL THE THIEVES OUT THERE THAT HAVE ONE OF THESE COMPUTERS THAT IS LOCKED UP.
HERE IS AN EASY FIX.
TRIM AN ELECTRICAL WIRE ON THE NON PLUG END SO THAT THE WIRES ARE EXPOSED BY AT LEAST
ON INCH. TAKE OUT THE BATTERY, PLUG IN THE WIRE AND PRESS FIRMLY THE TWO WIRES AGAIST THE
EXPOSED CONTACTS WITH YOUR BARE THUMB AND FOREFINGER. THIS SHOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM COMPLETELY..
NOT ONLY FOR YOUR STOLEN LAPTOP, BUT ALSO THE NEXT ONE, THAT YOU WILL NEVER STEAL...
HAVE A NICE DAY....THIEF.

Problem solved, always call Detective me for **** like this!

Turns out my norweigan skills are still up to date even 10 years after I actually worked there.
What komplett.no is trying to say (trust me on this, I buy stuff from komplett.se) is that you can have some kind of anti-theft **** available to your computer. BUT; you have to buy that **** before. They claim it can be put on the G73's but I doubt it.

Sidenote: The best anti-theft I can come up with is don't leave ur **** unguarded :)

Edited: I had a buddy trying to unlock that feature all along, he even called ASUS Support and it's not unlockable. Though I don't think it works on these computers as my guy is a nerd and should know!

Hope that helped!

Is the lojack software service available internationally? I would expect it to be, since GPS satellites are global, but are other nations besides the US likely to have police forces equipped with the ability to follow lojack?
