Hi!

This helped me with my stuck / dead pixel on my MSI Notebook:

Do this at your own risk though, and you have to apply only a very gentle pressure with your pen!
On my TV screen i fixed a dead pixel with gently massaging it with my finger.

Cheers

uhm :)( i'd rather not put any kind of physical stress on my screen i think i might bring it to a service center see what they can do for me :) (maybe they'd replace the LCD )

I understand you, both of my devices had expired warranty, so thats why i did it :)

You could run a pixel test though (different flashing colors)! It might resolves your problem!

Cheers

If it's stuck, rubbing it with your finger (no pressure..just needs some heat) may get it unstuck on some panels. This does look like a burnt pixel though, not a stuck one.

so i just when to the service center to find out the only sure way that asus would allow them to replace the screen was if it had more than 3 dead pixels, so now i have to wait for asus to approve the request for a replacement. noting that the service people told me that there was a big chance that asus would disapprove it.:(

Did they approve the repair with only one pixel or are you still waiting?

I don't understand?

I thought this dead-pixel issue was a problem with ALL G750 laptops, a few months ago these forums where littered with dead pixel issues with out-of-the-box G750's. I am one of them and Asus told me that they will NOT be covering it under warranty.

What has changed?

yeah Asus approved it, my laptop is in the service center right now. took about a week for them to approve it. the service center people were telling me that they could replace the screen without approval if it had 3 or more dead pixels since i only had one they had to file a ticket for approval. :)

when you buy one make sure to inspect the screen first they if you find a dead pixel just return it to the store and have them replace the laptop(desktop replacement).
