Do you mean the VGA or HDMI port?

Nope i mean the mini displayport :) or really any port would do it, just want to make sure i can run that screen in 144hz with my g750jw laptop. I mean so i dont by a 144hz screen if its not supported by the g750jw =)

AvX-lood, you want to find out for sure, as not all Thunderbolt ports support Display Port the same - weird spec anomaly.

I didn't see any youtube videos or postings talking about using the G750 Thunderbolt/Display Port port for video yet.

How about you give G750 Thunderbolt / Display port 144hz a try and report back here - you can be the first! :)

HDMI 1.4a and earlier doesn't support 1080p 144/120hz. HDMI 1.4b does, but I don't know what HDMI spec the G750 has... anyone know?

Your monitor will also need to be HDMI 1.4b in order to support 144hz on HDMI, which monitor is it?

This Asus 144hz monitor? Comments indicate it doesn't support 144hz on HDMI.

You can use Dual-link DVI, but the G750 doesn't have a DVI-D connector.

Someone here had a 144/120hz external monitor on the G750, perhaps they can answer this question...
