Hello my dear Gamer Friends,

My Ac Cable broke down the other day. So i had to look for an replacement.
I bought trust 100w

http://www.trust.com/products/nbwizard/default.aspx?artnr=15941

Now i have a very strange Problem with it. At times everything is fine i can play games in best Qualety no lag no nothing.
When i look at my power icon it stays at 99% Battery Charge .

But most of the time and this is very anoying. I get lag every 10sec- to the point it becomes unplayable. When i look at my Battery Icon i notice that in spite the Ac is plugged the engery is draining slowly.

Reading other threads i now that this Lag Problem Occurs when you play on Battery and are not pluged in with the Ac- so i guess it has to do something with the power supply.

The strange thing is that it is totally random. Last Sunday i played Black Flag for houers with NO LAG.

Next day continues lags.

Question:

Is this because of my AC? But if it is why is it working temporlay and then not?

Could it be- that when it lags there are some other programs running in the backround- or some settings wrong- so that the Laptop drains more power then it gets? If so how can i check. Power Monitor?

Thank you for your help.

The G75 requires:

Output :
19 V DC, A, 180 W

Trust doesn't sell anything above a 120 W. Your laptop isn't able to draw the correct wattage and is at risk of being damaged.

I suggest replacing that adpt with a real ASUS factory adpt.

What country are you located in?

So i guess it is a wonder that it works at all :)

I live in Palma de Mallorca at the Moment.

What can happen if it has not enough power- at the moment it runs fine.

It'll run like crap and potentially undervolt or overdraw. Using non ASUS products could result in damage to your laptop and could void your warranty.

Basically, get a new 'real' one as soon as you can.

What country did you purchase your laptop from?
(Btw Palma de Mallorca looks stunning in photos O_O )

It is my friend. Not without reason michal douglas and other actors have property here and spend a lot of their time here.

I bought it in Germany- no way to get one at the island?

hi, i dont mean to hijack this thread, but would this car charger be ok for the g55vw and the g46vw?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221114586839?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
