I don't know of any JH's that are 3D. If it says that they are anti-glare, then they are non 3D.
But if it says that they are glare (or glossy), then they are 3D.
I doubt's it that they are 3D.

You can install win 7, but there are no drivers for it, well, there are, but not all of them, instead, install Windows 8.1, it's much more similar to Windows 7, but, I would recommend for you to install Windows8, you will get used to it, it isn't so bad :)

Could you post the link from where you plan to buy it from, it would of much help.

Forgot almost about it, the 3D (120Hz) is more expensive than the normal (60Hz) panel, therefore the 60Hz one couldn't be more expensive that the 120Hz version

The laptop in overall is worth the money, don't worry about that, there are some cases where people replaced their matte screen with a glossy one :)

Just post the link so that I could see if it's a regular or 3D type :)

Ithought you were talking about the JH's, sorry, my bad :S

This laptop doesn't have a 3D screen and it's a matte (anti-glare), it has 2x750Gb HDD's, which means that if you wanted to upgrate it with a SSD, you would have to take out one of the HDD's

Here is how you will see if it's a 3D (120 Hz,glossy) or matte (anti-glare, 60Hz) panel
The 3D is named like this: G750JX-CVxxx
The 60Hz (non 3D) like this: G750JX-Txxxx

mate, the laptop you showed in the link is anti-glare, they have misinformed you, and, the laptop on the picture is the G75, not the g750, it seems that they have mislabeled it, why don't you order it from amazon?

Even if you never use the 3D option, from what I've heard the glossy 120Hz 3D display is better than the matte 60Hz. Sounds like a no-brainer.

they tried to rip you off, that's what I think :)

Anyway, I just looked, and it seems that the 3D version is hard to come by in the UK :S
From where are you?
maybe they sell it in your country :)

Look mate, the 3D version is the 120Hz version and the non 3D version is 60Hz, which they don't state, if it was the 3D version, they would say that's it's a 3D version.
The 3D version or 120Hz version is something like this ASUS G750JX-CVxxx ("x" representing a number)
The non 3D version or normal, 60Hz version is something like this ASUS G750JX-TxxxY ("x" representing a number an "Y" a letter)

From where I'm from (Serbia) the 3D version is this much:
www.gigatronshop.com/laptop_racunari/asus_g750jx-cv050h-24037
The non 3D version is:
http://www.gigatronshop.com/laptop_racunari/asus_g750jx-t4073-23883

Divede the price by around 100 and you'll get it in EURO.

And also the connectors from the motherboard to the display are different for the 3D and the non 3D version :)
Also, I don't think that Asus put's in their laptops anti glare 3D screens.

can you give me 3d one link please ? geforce gtx 770m they have 3d version ?

The 3D screen'd G750's are rare, and I haven't seen one in the US yet, but I am very happy with my G750JH.

After setting refresh to a custom 70hz in the Nvidia control panel, uninstalling Asus Splendid, setting the Windows desktop to 100% (Windows 8.0, as 8.1 defaults to 100% desktop), and finally, turning down the screen brightness to about 85% makes the AOC screen pop - and I have already gotten compliments on the quality of the images. Blu-rays, streaming video, and games look great.

Looks like the same place has the G750JH on sale:
http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Asus_G750JH_4th_Gen_Core_i7_16GB_1TB_256GB_SSD_17. 3_inch_Full_HD_Windows_8__G750JH-T4106H/version.asp

I would take the added speed from the GTX780M, Blu-ray, and SSD in a JH over a 3D screen in a JX. If that config had 24GB + RAID SSD it would be better, but also more expensive - that GTX780m is worth getting. Also the cooling in the G750JH is upgraded so the CPU/GPU run cooler.

But, if you find one, lets us know - after you order yours :)

Yep, but he want's a 120Hz glossy screen, doesn't care if it's 3D or not :S

Anyway, won't the 70Hz refresh rate damage the panel?
and also, how do you set Windows desktop to 100%, I don'r really get that part :S

There is a G750JX in my country, but it's gonna cost him way more, in fact, they have 1 in a shop near me, I use my laptop a lot more outside, and I like it when my room is brightly lit, so the anti glare is my choise :)
And the JH is by far more worth than a JX with 3D, my opinion is that 3D is a passing fancy, I can't stand to look at a 3D screen without the feeling that my eyes are gonna bleed :S

Mate, you can turn off the 3D option, so it will basically be a 60hz glossy panel (as far as I know)...

A 120Hz panel is the same as a 3D.

Maybe I'm wrong or simply you are a troll :S

You can't use a 120Hz screen on a non-3D laptop. It requires integrated mini-displayport which is only included on the 3D model.

The model you linked was not the 3D model.
