Has anyone actually purchased an additional power supply (brick) for a G750JX yet?
(I have a G750JX-TB71)

I have two office areas in my house and would like to be able to move frequently between the two without dragging the power supply back and forth.

I want avoid to picking up a cheap brand or a model that is not completely compatible and cause damage to my machine.
The ones on Amazon noted as being compatible with G750JX do not look like the same input as the original one, and Newegg seems to only point to the G75 models.

Appreciate any guidance or examples online from those who have done this successfully.
Thanks!

Well, you can purchase it at Asus eStore, I think the one for G750JW will work with G750JX as well.

We are all here to help each other but frankly if you did a little search on this forum you would have found a post on page 4 which may have answered your question:

Unfortunately, those are not genuine Asus chargers. I've ordered one from PowerAdapterLaptop (weird chinise site) and received this big brick, no markings on it. Never used it either....

Since our G750's have a 2 year warranty Asus would IMHO should replace any defective part on out G750.

Thanks for sharing your (bad) experience and nice to know the site you used is unreliable, however, post 3 in the link I refered to actually suggests to go ASUS eStore but let it lay.

Mine (G750JH) is a Delta ADP 230EB T. you can buy it at some sites , $100 more or less, quite expensive.

Appreciate the responses.
I had checked the ASUS store first which is why I asked since there was only a battery and HD case for the G750jx.
There is one for the G75vx, if that would work for G750JX, it's $99, but might be worth the back and forth with one plug.

I'll keep looking and make sure I get the right one. My main one runs through my desk so it's not really a mobile cord.
Thanks!

Yes, if you check the input rating label in the battery bay of your G750JX, it matches the 180w adapter output for the G75VW and G75VX and the plug is the correct size (and polarity) as well, so you can use it.
The bigger, heavier, and (slightly?) more expensive G750JH 230w adapter may work as well, but your 180w adapter is available, so you probably just want to get it instead.

Also, you can request confirmation from the U.S. eStore site that the G75VX 180w adapter will work for the G750JX (and remind them to post it for those models?), but if you want to trust me, it will work fine.

Didn't you find anything when you googled the ASUS part number for the power supply?
