Hi, I have a G75VX & recently had an arrow key return spring? break or collapse because of playing a game in which I utilize the arrow keys as joystick support isn't available for that game as of yet.. is repairing this something that can be done by me? The key still works just it doesn't pop back up like all the other keys on the keyboard...
Also, does anyone know how to make the symbol for the british pound work with a single keystroke as opposed to having to do a shift+alt+0163 ? (& no, copy & paste is not an option in this circumstance..) I have looked at my character map as well as searched online & I am stumped.. something about changing keyboard to UK maybe? I only need to be able to do this one single time via a single keystroke.. shift + a single key is fine I think too..
Thanks to anyone who can help me with these 2 questions/problems!

Sounds like your either going to have to install a British style keyboard software or use an external British KB or perhaps write a Macro, maybe Goggle for some keyboard mods? Seem to me a macro could be written that when Shift + 4 would produce the British pound sign. instead of the $ sign?

Check out this thread http://superuser.com/questions/13324/switching-keyboard-layout-in-windows-globally. I didn't read it all but it sounds like what your looking for.
