Hey there, I am new to the forum so first things first - Hello everybody : ].

Around a year back I bought g74sx and recently I've decided to push my baby to the max, that goes with overclocking, fast SSD and so on, so this is what I have right now:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz (TURBO @ 3.1GHz)
nVidia GeForce 560M (Overclocked by ~30% - the stability ceiling [so to say])
Corsair Neutron GTX 240Gb [SSD] (Port 0) (OS Drive)
Seagate Momentus XT 750Gb [SSHD] (Port 1)
WD Black Scorpio 750Gb [HDD] (Port 2)

It is not too impressive, but get's my work done for my youtube channel.
Now getting to the issue; I had 8Gb of RAM, I am stress-testing my laptop right now so I cannot tell what memory it is, but two modules of memory I got when buying g74SX seem to be working fine and not causing any issues.

The issues started to arise once I've added Kingston's KVR1333D3S9 modules into 3&4th memory slots, I began to get occasional freezes of the system at least three times a day and I just cannot stand them anymore.

My question to you is what could I do at this point? I wish to have 16Gb of RAM, since I work a lot with video editing and so on, but from what I've read around it seems as if g74SX was not meant to run with that much RAM in it.

Anyway, sorry for the long read, but hope to get some replies ; ].

EDIT: I will run memtest86 on each of the two chips just to check if they're damaged in any way. They cause BSODs (well at least that's what I have determined).

EDIT: There seem to be no errors with the RAM, it is listed as compatible with g74SX. I wonder what could be the issue.
