Hi!
I have a couple of questions about this computer, can I get 120Hz resolution on my laptop screen? At the moment all I can pick is 60 Hz no matter where I do it in Nvidia Control panel etc, im just wondering is the max 60hz or is it some setting?

Also I am wondering if the HDMI port\version is 1.4b(the one that passes 120hz) I have looked on ASUS official site and it doesnt specify this.

Cause I have a Samsung Syncmaster 2233 120 hz compatible 3D vision ready screen that doesnt work atm with 120 hz only get 60 hz.

From searching this forum its my understanding I need to buy a Displayport cable with dvi to get that to work is this a correct assumption from my side?

So I hope I can get some answers from you guys sorry for my broken english!

My specs
Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM Processor 2.4 GHz
Windows 7 64 bit ultimate
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM & 750GB 7200rpm \ 180 GB SSD INTEL
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 670M 3GB GDDR5 VRAM

Hi, you can use 120Hz resolution on the laptop screen, but if use an external 3D display, you need use the DVI cable, but the laptop doesn't have the DVI port..

Yes but the G75 does have Display port and HDMI, Both carry video and sound, screen refresh rate should be monitor dependent, unless you have a 3D model your screen is limited to 60hrz, the 3D models have 120 Hrz. An external monitor would have its own native refresh rate 120 or 240 HRZ or what ever their up to these days.
