It might not be fully released yet, even though the article says it will be, as I can't find it for sale / in stock either.

Yeah... seems Marshall has lied to us again with release info.. said it should be available mid Feb. in the US... obviously that has come and gone...maybe they just want to make it a full year from showing it off to when they release it... for the life of me can't understand why it would take soo long to make this backpack.. especially when all you have to do is take a boat a little was over to mainland and have it mass produced for cheap...

Holy hellfire, the Nomad is the bag I want. Finally something that'll actually fit my JX properly.

Woah, you're from India? Me either! Happy to see you. Let's get to the topic. The Nomad hasn't been released yet, and even if it were I'm pretty much confident that it won't be available in India. That's for sure. Either you'll have to eBay it for tons of cash or Amazon it for the same by paying taxes as well. Either way it'll cost you way more than the actual backpack. I know it's tough to find a gaming backpack there and there aren't lot's available officially. I presently live in USA for my Graduate studies, so I bought Everki Beacon for $100 from Amazon, it's excellent though. If you want Nomad badly, wait for it's release then try buying via Amazon Global or eBay GEB. EIther way be prepared to shell out lot's of cash. Maybe they might ask you 10000 INR or more that depends. But you can't never expect official unveiling and sale in India unless some wants to take risk by bringing it over there and not selling even one. Cheers! :)

I bought mine here: http://eshop.asus.com/en-GB/asus-17-rog-nomad-backpack.html on the 1st of February as soon as I had seen the news announcement on the homepage.

My previous backpack wasn't that bad but had limited space. The Nomad looks really good and has a lot of space but I feel as if my old backpack felt a lot better on my back (I think the Nomad feels heavier because it's so large and the things that are at the end of the backpack might make it feel a lot heavier than it would be if you had put the stuff closer to your back). I shouldn't really be comparing both though as I haven't done a fair comparison where both backpacks had about the same amount of stuff in them.

All by all this backpack looks really good and I love all the extra zipper pockets inside, there's only 1 disadvantage I can think of and it's that a 0.5L bottle won't fit the 2 zipper pockets on the side and the "net" that's on one of the sides feels like popping my bottle out every now and then.

And I did get some scretches on it already by having it fall on the floor when it was standing up straight :(
