So as the title states, I am planning on purchasing the G750JH and I need a way to carry it around (will be taking to college). Now this laptop is pretty big so I have been having some troubles finding a suitable backpack. So far I have found the Everki Titan and the Targus XL. The Everki seems pretty darn costly when the Targus Xl is less than $50.

I was also considering this laptop sleeve for added protection

All of the dimensions for these bags add up and theoretically they should fit, but I would feel more comfortable hearing from somebody with first hand experience. Thanks!

Edit: I looked through previous threads but they were all for G975jx/w's, I was under the assumption that the G975JH was a different size.

You get what you pay for. The cheap bags tend to roll their strap under the weight of the G750's. Invest in a good solid construction laptop bag and it will last a long time.

My Oakley Kitchen Sink backpack is still going strong after 4+ years of heavy duty laptops - starting with the Asus W90Vp-X1 18" laptop, and now with the G750JH.

The JH is thicker and has protruding legs/feet, which is going to make a bag that is a tight fit with a G750JW/JX not work with the G750JH.

I couldn't find any sleeve's that work with the G750JH, they are all too thin.

I would look for 18" bags when trying to fit a G750, unless you want a snug fit.

The Everki's are nice. The Titan is a bit bulky - unless you want to carry lots of other stuff besides the G750, but the Beacon looks good.

The Oakley is a bit wild, but it has outlasted several other bags and is still going strong. I have the black/silver/red original color scheme, but today I think I would go for the Black Stealth look.

There are a lot more models to choose from than when I got mine, and cheaper too. I should mention that even in the Oakley, I can't fit the G750JH in the laptop compartment, only in the larger area just outside the laptop compartment - the JH is too thick. I put my other laptop in the fitted laptop compartment.

The Everki Titan is a good. It's a large bag but you can fit the G750 and a few other things. The section the G750 fits in is a bit snug at first but it loosens up. There really should be some additional padding all around the laptop compartment, especially on the bottom of the bag and the corners would really help to protect the G750 better. There is enough room to add some extra padding though. I added some extra strips of padding to those sections and it works.

I compared the Targus XL with the Titan. The Targus was almost as large but not as deep, had a tiny bit more padding on the bottom, and it really didn't leave much room for anything else but the unit itself.

Try price matching the Titan, and you might get lucky and not pay much more than the Targus.

It really would be nice to find a sleeve, or even a hard shell case, (if anyone has found one?), but unless it's 18" or larger it probably won't fit.
