View Full Version : G74SX CINEPLAYER stops working when playing blu-ray movie

I was able to play a blu-ray movie. But after the 1st time it worked it now stops working when playing a movie. The movie stops abruptly and I get a message saying windows is investigating this failure. I am using the ROXI CINEPLAYER that came with the G74SX. When I go to the ASUS download page, I do not see any ROXI CINEPLAYER updates/downloads.

What is the model number of your G74SX system?

Does this issue occur on multiple blu-ray discs? In other words, have you eliminated the possiblity it is a bad disc? Have you attempted to clean the problem disc?

Do you get any errors reading DVD's or CD's on your system?

Do the System and/or Application Event Logs report any Errors or Warnings when this issue occurs?

Have you made any changes to Cineplayer settings since the disc first played without a problem?

I cannot find the ROXIO player, but that's a link for our PowerDVD 9 OEM version.

EDIT: OK, it's called SonicDVD on Asus' site...
