Have you tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it?
That don't work you might still have to some warranty Left for an RMA?
That don't work you can scan EBay, and take your chances. Here is a dissemble Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9KHrJKInmA)

Nope its not a software / driver issue. My keys rubbery layer got bubbled up and keys got depressed. Tried to elevate the keys and screwed it up. I am using a the mouse now. Touchpad works still.
Is this site authentic? http://www.asusparts.eu/en/Asus-04060-00090000
Is that a whole touchpad replacement?

I don't really know, the sight has been around a good while probably safer than eBay.

I couldnt find a replacement on ebay.
Does the above link gives only a circuit board or whole kit with pad and keys? The image is confusing.

You'll have to contact them, I have no Idea have never ordered from them. They always come up when you search for Asus Notebook parts

Very carefully, Motherboard and accessories cable connections are very fragile, here's the link to the dissemble again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9KHrJKInmA).

Thank you!
Should I rather go for a laptop technician?

Well that's up to you. The thing is if you take it apart and screw anything up it then get real expensive to have repaired.
Then again if you feel like you can do go for it. I have built my own PC for the last 15 years or so. I have always had the long term warranty so have never tried to work on one. I seem a few guy's here that have successfully open up their notebooks. And a few on another Forum that it hasn't gone to well for. The problems seems to be the connectors they are really fragile and if you screw one up I removing it you'll have to find a replacement. If I had to do it I would research, research and talk to some people that have had one apart then proceed causeously if you have warranty I would just RMA it.
