I uninstalled splendid because I thought it made the colors inaccurate and now it's seems to be worse. How do I fix this without installing splendid again?

Recalibrate colors...

Sorry for loosely translated link names, i use czech windows and i don't know exact english strings, so i'll just translate and hope you'll figure it out

Right-click desktop>Personalize>on left sidebar down topmost link, "Display" or something like that... and then something like "Calibrate colors" - a wizard will appear and will guide you trough the process..

Thanks, I just found a ICC Profile that was posted here http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?36153-Personal-Color-Profile-for-the-Chi-Mei-173HGE The second one looks pretty good

just make your own icc profile by the wizard... every display (one by one, not model by model...) is different, not to mention, when light conditions change (i.e. night vs. day) the calibration should be theoretically redone for best results...
