It shows this is GPT drive cant install win 7, But win 7 x64 can be installed in GPT partition also. Also I tried installing from the win 8 settings not from boot menu, as i cant find the DVD drive in the boot menu .

You need to set up your Install using a UEFI Boot and Install. Check out this thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?28758-GUIDE-G55-G75-Upgrade-Notes&country=&status=), somewhere in there is a procedure to create a Boot 64 file in your ISO also you need to use a ISO that has SP 1 integrated. Have run a dual boot however my Win 7 was there first. You'll at least need to have a separate partition. Its seems to be a lot quicker and easier to use a USB thumb Drive 4 GB should be enough depending on your ISO. Use Rufus (http://rufus.akeo.ie/) to set up your Install media
USB has to be formatted Fat 32
ISO has to be SP1
once your USB install media has been created, boot hit esc you should see your usb as UEFI USB select that and your install should start

If you get a choice as to wether Win 8 is first boot take it. Win 8 dual boot is very easy and fast. Win 7 dual boot is several clicks and take longer to boot to either OS. Let us know how it comes out for you.

Not sure about this but you may have to go into the BIOS and turn off Secure Boot and enable CSM once your installed you can change the setting back to secure boot on and disable CSM.
