One would think it be as simple as turn on, pair, enjoy. but.. i for the life of me cant get my HBS800 (LG tone Ultra) to stay paired, or produce sound to/with my G750. what am i doing wrong? is there a driver out there? or is this just not possible?

Omgrtfa, of course there is a driver :)

The latest BT driver packages are downloadable from the G750JM/JS/JZ download areas, the JW/JX/JH download areas are a bit dated now.

v8.0.1.314

An even newer release v8.0.1.318, the one I use, is available here:

36883

You want the latest Windows 8.1 drivers overall, so you might want to take the time to download all the ones you need, whatever hardware you have.

http://support.asus.com/Search.aspx?SLanguage=en&keyword=g750&ps=10&pn=1

Then you just go into the Windows Charms => Settings => PC Settings => PC & Devices => Bluetooth - make your headset discoverable, and then when it shows up in the list, select it and click Pair. You also need to make sure you aren't in Airport mode, or have Bluetooth turned off / disabled.

So far I have been able to pair everything aok :)
