I have asus rog 750js and i just installed an ssd instead of fhe stock 750gb.
I changed boot options from bios . I successfully installed windows 8 on ssd and suddenly, once i rebooted after drivers installation, the screen is black and i cannot enter the bios. I also have a bootable dvd but nothing happens.
Is there a way to hardreset the bios? I hope the screen isnt broken...

You can't just "break" the BIOS. (Well you can but not in your way). When you're powering on your laptop, do you see the ROG Logo at all? Or are you booting directly to a black screen? If you're seeing the ROG Logo, you can press Del (or F2, dont remember which one to enter bios). If you're not seeing the logo i think you have a bigger problem than that.
Also, you can check (at least partially) if the display is broken by checking if the backlight works. Just look at the sides of the screen, near the frame, and see if you can tell.

No rog logo. Lights seem to be off. 7 days of life. I hope asus warranty works fast... :\

Then it's probably safe to say your screen is faulty.
