Hi all, i have just bought an asus rog g74sx-a1 and i am enjoing i a lot now, the thing is that my gf bought me a nvidia 3d pack with an ir emmiter and glasses because she saw the 3dtv green label on the laptop, but it turns out that i would need a 3d compatible monitor, i wish to ask if it is possible to use the laptop own monitor even on a lower graph setting and if you can point me how to do it.

Thanks!

I also have a G74SX-A1. As I understand it, you can only display 3d video from the laptop on a compatible 3D TV, but not on the laptop's display. To do that, your need the G74SX-3DE with the 120 mhz display.

You can display SIDE by SIDE 3D images on the 60 mhz monitor and merge them by focusing your eyes to look straight ahead (I did this with 3D photos from the EVO 3D smartphone), but I don't believe that's what you had in mind.
