Hi, I'm going to buy a SSD for my laptop (G56JR), and I'm planning as well attach the old HD in a Caddy replacing the DVD-Drive, however I'm not sure what I must choose.

Per product specifications the hard disk that the computer has in a sata 9.5mm, but I'm a quite confuse in regards the HDD Caddy.

Here're the options:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=asus+caddy+hdd&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aasus+caddy+hdd

Could you help me to determine what is the right one?

Thanks,
Diego.

As long as it's for a 2.5" drive that's 9.5mm in height and a SATA interface, it should work. They're more or less designed to be "universal." It doesn't necessarily need to be listed for the G56JR. :)

I found one site (http://hddcaddy.com/en/asus-hdd-caddy/877-asus-g56jr-hdd-caddy.html) that lists a compatible caddy specifically for your model but I don't know where you are purchasing from.
