Yep, the G56JR finally has NVIDIA driver support after months. (Was told by hmscott that it'd be a good idea to make this top-level.)

In Changes and Fixed Issues in Version 340.43 (http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/340.43/340.43-win8-win7-notebook-release-notes.pdf), one part stands out (I always read release notes of new drivers before installing):

Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 8.1 Fixed Issues
[Notebook][GeForce GTX 760M]: Verde notebook driver support needed for Asus: G56JR notebook. [1509458]

Enjoy the new drivers, with all the DirectX 11 optimizations (though technically this came from an earlier driver version, this is the first usable driver package for G56JR.). Happy gaming!

The DirectX 11 improvements in the newest driver packages have the most effect on CPU-limited DirectX 11 games. It's less likely to be beneficial on anything not CPU-bound or using a DirectX 11 engine. (I do believe that shader compilation should still improve things on other games, at least for loading times.)

I did my test on Watch Dogs at Hull HD , High details - still only about 20-25FPS . However this game is badly optimized...
Bettlefied 3 had more at ultra details...
