broadleaf, what is the version of driver you found? The latest Qualcomm/Broadcom driver showing from the links below is Version V6.30.223.228

Can you please share with us the newer driver version # and links? Thanks!

The way to find the latest drivers at Asus is to find the last product release of the hardware. You start with your model of device, then look for anything released after that with the same hardware. Also, there are central areas for type of drivers, like WAN, Audio, etc.

Here is the list I use to check on a regular basis for new drivers:

G750 support areas - The JM download area has the latest of all the G750, with JS/JZ next, the G750JW/JX/JH are out of date:

Here are the Asus posted VGA drivers, it's better to get the latest from Nvidia - currently 337.88, except for the JM/JS/JZ owners you probably want to keep using 332.60 to avoid random crashes - as reported by a lot of people.

OEMs seldom keep up with driver revisions due to how prolific they are. It's hardly misleading. This is the case with every OEM, which is why going straight to the horse's mouth (i.e. Intel for Intel drivers, AMD or NVidia for AMD or NVidia drivers, etc.) is generally ideal when updating.

In any case, it's good you knocked out the lag problem. :)
