I can swap out the hdd and replace it with ssd. And put the hdd in the already emty slot. That way i can make the ssd the boot drive as it is configured already in bios. But how to make ssd my boot drive and also have my hdd files which include os and drivers etc

Just plug the SSD into the empty slot, grab any program that clones disks.. clone the HDD onto the SSD, then swap the drives around.

Make sure you plug the SSD in alone for a little while to make sure the copy was good. After that, format the HDD and off you go. ;x

The key word here is "Clone" your drive.
