I have recently been thinking of upgrading the storage space on my laptop, and today I stumbled upon one that if I'm correct seem like a great upgrade both speed and storage wise, now for th equestion part. Would the seagate 1TB sshd 2.5" be something that would work well with this laptop? If so would it be recommended to move the win8 installation to this drive as well? or better yet get 2 of these drives for a total of 2tb replacing the old 500gb drive already in the laptop.

also am I correct assuming if I wish to add more ram I should look for a ram at 1600mhz with 11, 11, 11, 28?

thanks in advance for any help with this matter

ON the RAM yes and 1.5V also.
That hard drive is only 5400 RPM, The SS part is only used as cache. it you want to get an improvement that you can see and feel get a SSD the Samsung evo series are fairly cheap and you'll actually notice the difference. For storage I would pick up a 1 GB 7200 RPM
