I bought this Asus G75WV laptop almost a year ago. I've had this same issue this whole time, but i've been too lazy to do anything about it.
SOMETIMES when i boot my computer or restore it from the sleep mode, it's unable to connect to any Wireless (no issues if wire is plugged). Shortly after it will freeze, forcing me to shut down the computer using the power button. This seems to happen about 50% of the time. On the other 50%, everything works fine until the next boot.
So what can i do about this? I have tried the following:
• Reinstall all drivers.
• Updating all drives.
• Tried some unofficial driver for the wireless.
• Reinstalling WIndows 8.
• Updating to 8.1.
• Change powerplans, wireless setting and anything i can think of.
Nothing seems to help. So is this a hardware issue? Thanks in advance.
