Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum, after reading some good threads I thought I would put some details of my problems I'm encountering with my notebook.

I have a G75VW - Upgraded ram to 16gb, have both an SSD and a Hybrid.

It was working perfectly before, and all of the sudden my windows crashed and I restarted it. It has happened numerous times but I let it slide because it was intermittent.

Recently, my notebook will not boot, it is coming up with an error: "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert etc etc"
I have tried swapping my HDD's to the original factory with no luck.

I have also checked out the Bios and looked at the boot options, none of my hard drives are actually available to choose. So I'm stuck with this situation where I can even boot my notebook. I was thinking maybe it was a Bios problem and I needed to downgrade.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Grab yourself a usb enclosure. place the one of the drives in there and head on over to some other PC. See if it can be recognized or if you can run chkdsk on it. If you are lucky you are just looking at minor corruption. If it can't be read or checked. It is probably dead.
