Hi Folks:

I was showing off my ability to run a Twitch feed on my G750 JZ to a friend.

During the demonstration he said, "Did you hear that? That was my voice!".

My headset wasn't plugged in. Apparently the G750 has a mic somewhere on it, and it's turned on by default.

I found the control for the mic by right clicking on the audio icon in the lower right corner, and disabled it. I'll need to do some tests.

How do I control the camera? I'd like to be able use it when I want, and to KNOW it's off when I don't want to use it. I think I'll take a hole punch, like you use to make holes in a piece of paper to insert it into a binder, punch a hole out of a piece of adhesive backed paper, and stick that hole over the camera's lens when I don't want to use it.

Thanks
Larry

The Camera basically only works when you open the Apps which require it to work, and those Apps give you the functionality to even block it or close the Camera. If you really want to disable it, you can go to Device Manager > Imaging Devices > USB2.0 HD UVC WebCam Right-Click and Disable, it will be completely off and Enable it back on when you want it to work.
