Hi folks,

I've got a 27" monitor that I want to drive over the HDMI port. This monitor is capable of 2560x1440, but Windows sees the cap at 1920x1080. The monitor has the right driver, and I've gone into unlisted modes, but I still can't get anything above 1920x1080.

The website says that you can drive 4k off of the ports, but I don't see a way to do this....

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Dan

Check the Intel hd graphic options, right click your desktop go to graphic properties (or something like that with an Intel logo) and go to monitor and switch from there. :)

In the G750s, the Intel graphics is physically disconnected. You only use the nVidia GTX. Did you check the resolution options through there? I'm wondering about the limits of the HDMI port... in some other laptops (I don't know about the G750s) the limit is 1080.

Hi folks,

So, I checked all these settings again (Intel panel resolution, Windows resolution), and it still capped me at 1080p over HDMI. After a few back and forths with ASUS tech, they confirmed that the HDMI is capped at 1080p. I switched over to the display port, and am in business.

Thanks for the help!
