Apparently there is a problem uploading files and scores at moment. And with the release of the new tech, Asus forgot to fix it.

But there is a newer ROG CPU-Z out. Version 1.70

Pretty nice GIMP score for such freq and DDR4.
By the way, Menthol, you have some work to do about timings)

nice going Menthol. Good stuff for sure

I have a lot of work to do but this isn't the board to do it on, the deluxe is a very nice board, dual NIC plus wifi, BT, all the deluxe features but lacking in OC features, hopefully the RVE will become available soon. I have a hobot prime run at 4750 mhz so fare but if I touch any RAM timings it won't boot and I don't know safe voltage limits on RAM yet, I am trying to take it easy on the voltages

Recently I saw TaPaKaH's submissions on X99, and it seems he uses 8GB sticks. And they show much more thinner timings than 4GB other guys use.

BTW Menthol, tell us a bit about Haswell-E OC. I heard they start to heat up seriously with vcore over 1.2v.

Most likely they are cherry binned sticks.

May be, but this screenshot contains all the mem settings, so may be useful trough.

PS Luumi found some interesting screenshot. I'm pretty sure it's from RVE bios.

4750 mhz

That sounds like a good CPU, from what I have read so far there are a lot worse....don't like what I read with the spread of OCs some stuck at 4.2.4.3 GHz

8Pack posted a guide of what to expect on what he said his worst clocking chip, although his worst chip may still be better than average.
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18620729
He also has a thread on DDR4, Hynix appears to perform the best so far, top end GSKill or Corsair, although I am not sure if that means Dominator Platinums for Corsair. The X99 Deluxe has only one 8 pin power connection, this does not supply enough amperage for any serious overclocking, at least I am learning a little about the platform but really need a RVE to get the potential from the 8 core chip. My 5820K chip does 4.7 to 4.9 fairly easy but not going to push until I get a RVE.

Nice board the deluxe but yeah, its not a RVE and for menthol that is not going to be enough...

I see this is 'warming' up to be quite interesting .. love me anticipation. .c.

Once I've finished writing, we will check RB with X99 upload this week. Sorry for the delay folks.

We know CPUZ needs updating as well. It's on the list :)

Nice one. But is it your max? Twisted1 got 150,000 GIMP on a Pentium G3258.

Great scores, Menthol, and thanks for giving the heads-up to the Realbench crew.

randyenergy:

Gimp uses one of the 16 threads in a 5960X and one of two in a G3258. It's a great leveler of the playing field. High score comes primarily from high clock speeds and second from efficiency of memory and OS.

The 150K scores came from clocks over 5GHz. We may have to wait a while, or use LN2, to see that high clock rate on a 5960X.

No it's not highest at all, nothing really tweaked, just XMP and CPU at 4500mhz

ROG CPU-Z for X99 will be ready by October I'm told, so then we'll bundle it into RB 2.4.

Good to hear Marshall, I see around the net it is becoming very popular for system stability testing, we here have known that for quite some time

I don't know safe voltage limits on RAM yet,

1.5v is the highest Intel is allowing on any XMP profiles....

Cant you just update the cpu-z exe in the realbench folder for a quick fix?

This are my scores and at the bottom says a message to report to this thread so there you have it.

We'll soon issue an updated version that should work.
You can try replacing the CPUZ.exe with 1.7.1 and uploading, see if that works in the meantime.

If you change any RB files it will run but not give you a score for the subtests and you get an "altered files" message...
