I remember when I owned the G750JX there was this annoying USB 3.0 bug that affected the first stepping C1

Now I got an Alienware 18 laptop recently and noticed the stepping is C2

Can you guys verify if the G750JM,JS, and JZ have stepping 1 or 2?

This is how mine looks:

Awesome! glad to see that ASUS updated the newer G750 line to stepping 2 which fixes the horrible USB issues that affect random disconnections and speed with stepping 1 :)

Awesome man! thanks for confirming!

The poor G750JX/JW/JH have a lot of issues due to their C1 Stepping on their motherboards

WOW! how did you manage to get that? did ASUS update the motherboards on the older G750s as well?

Man thats a blessing from God :D, i bought mine like 45 days ago, brand new, so it might be a refreshed model, and it came with the bios 205 out of the box, so yeah maybe a refreshed model :)

ahh seems like ASUS have been updating to newer motherboards even for older models for the units sold recently! awesome man you were blessed! The C1 stepping is horrible, random USB device disconnects and sometimes operates @ USB 2.0 speeds
