G750JS Terribly Slow USB

Copy pasting from a thumbdrive about 3-4gb took about 1-2 hours.

What's the deal?

I checked device manager for driver details.
Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 0100 (Microsoft)

If it's a microsoft driver, the manufacturer driver isn't installed? Yet I can't find it...

Can anyone give me some advice here?
