Hi. I have just bought a new G750jz laptop. I had the shop format the laptop, and install windows 7 Pro.
I have installed all the drivers from the ASUS Support page, and all is working well.

I want to know if ASUS AI Suite works on this laptop, and which version.
Which of the other ASUS ROG software packages work on this laptop, GPU tweak, CPU Z etc

Thanks

Another thing i have noticed.
Sometimes when running on the battery, the laptop turns off. No warning, just instantly dead.
I switch it back on, and sometimes it will only stay on for a few seconds, and then die again. Other times it can run for a while.
Battery has more than 50% charge. It never dies running on AC power.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news my friend
But if the shop reformatted your JZ, and installed W7 Pro then you are out of luck.
Now if they formatted, and left the recovery partition in place, you may be able to use the Asus BackTracker USB to create a recovery usb.
But I think that should have been done before the reformat, and the install of W7 Pro was done.

Thanks for the reply Gottiboi.
No, they did not leave the recovery partition. I will just manually install the software that i want.

Any idea what could be causing the laptop to switch of when running on the battery.
Currently only have Windows 7 Pro installed, and the drivers from the ASUS support page.

An update on laptop switching itself off.

If i boot up in Windows Safe mode, then the laptop does not switch itself off.
But, if I go to device manager, everything shows up as working, with no conflicts or errors.

If I go back to normal mode, then the laptop just switches itself off. Sometimes after a few seconds, other times it can run for a long time on the battery.

Here's a list of Drivers you need below, so your NB will work properly.

You need to enter BIOS, and set the following setting first before proceeding.

1. In "Boot Tab" set “Launch CSM” to Enabled..
2. In "Security Tab" set "Secure Boot Control" to Disabled.
3. Press F10 to save and exit.
Note: You will need to set these settings back when you are finished installing your drivers.

Install these Drivers in order.
Download drivers from Here (http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_ROG_G750JZ/HelpDesk_Download/)

1. Intel Chipset Driver
2. Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver
3. Intel USB 3.0 Driver
4. Intel Management Engine Interface
5. nVidia GeForce Drivers
6. Audio Drive
7. Lan Driver
8. WLAN Driver
9. Bluetooth Drive
10. Mulit-Card Reader Driver
11. ATK Package (ASUS-related drivers, for fn key functions)
12. Touchpad Driver
13. Keyboard Device Filter Utility (Edit: added)

Hope this will help you solve your issues?
Edit: added 13

Hi Gottiboi.
There are quite a few application files under the folders for the Intel Rapid Storage driver, and the Intel Management engine.
Which files do I need to run to install these drivers.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for all the help GottiBoi.
Just to let you know, on Friday, while the laptop was running on AC power it switched off. And then it was completely dead. Nothing, not a single light.
Took it back to the shop, where they confirmed it to be faulty. They gave me a new unit.
New laptop has now got all the drivers installed, and is running great.
Does any version of the AI Suite software work on the G750JZ laptop?
