Hi everybody, I have a home cinema (Panasonic SA-BT200 5.1) connected to my TV (Samsung LE40c530) and I would like to send audio from the G75VW to the TV (in 5.1).
I tried tu configure HDMI audio output to set up 5.1 but I only have "Stereo" available. In the properties of the HDMI audio output it say "Max Number of Channels: 2".
How can I send 5.1 over HDMI ? It's impossible for the G75VW ?

PS: It's not my native language, sorry for my bad english.

I think your source is only stereo that is why you are only out putting stereo. HDMI should carry what ever is on the disk you are watching to your system should decode it and apply it to your audio system. Also some disk allow you to select Stereo, or 2.1 4.1 or 5.1 or 7.1 I don't think you can control this from the NVidia software?

for things other than DVD or BR the headphone multi plug is also fiber Optic you need a connector to access it.

You need to plug the Asus via HDMI into your receiver, not directly to the TV. Then you should be able to select 5.1.
