View Full Version : G56JK High Def Audio Device issue

Hello everyone.

Yesterday i bought an ASUS G56JK.
I installed Windows 8.1 and all the drivers from Asus.com for my G56JK.
Today: Blue Screen with Driver Power State Failure. After that i check my Device Manager and found out that the High Definition Audio Device had an exclamation mark under it with the error:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

I have attached a picture of my Sound Drivers Installed.

Is there any conflict between them? What do i have to do so that i don't get the corrupted driver.

http://www.service.asus.com/#!downloads/c1wax try this in "sound video game controllers" uninstall the " Realtek High Definition Audio" driver from device manager if the "High Definition Audio Device" is still listed after uninstalling the Realtek driver uninstall that to from "Device Manager" then install the driver from your laptop page above
