Hello Everybody,

i've just yesterday bought a G750JH and joined this Asus Rog Team :)
very pleased to have this laptop but from yesterday i have a problem with my CPU Fan (Left one)
It works noisy and very speedly even i do not do anything. i heard a lot of thing about quitness of Fan and coolness of this laptop. Ok, it makes very cool laptop. Thats perfect. but this noise disturbes me very much. How can i reduce speed of my fan or how can it works quietly.

Anybody can help me about this issue ? :/
And i dont have so much experience on Windows 8, please while you are writing your answer try to use more easy words :)
thanks in advance..

Yusuf, you need to look at your Windows Task Manager, and sort by CPU %, so that all the highest CPU using applications are at the top of the list.

When your CPU fan is running, if it is working correctly, then something is using the CPU. The higher the CPU usage, the more heat the CPU generates and the faster the fan needs to run to cool off the CPU.

When I get my G750 laptop's and turned them on the first time, the CPU/Disk were being used at a high rate by the Windows Indexer and the Asus DVD media indexer. When I disabled both of those, the Windows Index configuration I deleted all the areas it was indexing but kept the Index Service running for Windows Searches, and in Asus DVD I changed the configuration to remove all the folders in the media section.

If Windows Task Manager doesn't show anything using lots of CPU, and your CPU fan is running high all the time, there is something wrong with the cooling system - it is running the CPU fan when it doesn't need to.

If you are still in the return period of the laptop to the seller, return it for another new one.

If you are outside the return period of the laptop to the seller, then you need to file a Technical Inquiry with Asus to get their help setting up an RMA to return your laptop for repair.

https://vip.asus.com <== create a login, register your laptop, file a Technical Inquiry requesting a repair RMA to fix the CPU fan always running High.

Please come back and let us know how it works out :)
