kargo1337, unfortunately Nvidia took all the mobile GTX GPU's off the supported list; the 8xxm and 9xxm were on it for a while, but have since been removed.

This is the currently list of G-sync supported GPU's:

GeForce > Hardware > Technology > G-SYNC

The good news is a Mini-Display Port to Display Port cable or adapter will let you run at high refresh/desktop from the JH, and newer non-Optimus ROG Laptops (G750JW/JX/JH, G751JY/JT) - and Intel may have fixed their driver to support higher refresh than 60hz for the Optimus / Intel GPU ROG Laptops (G750JM/JS/JZ,G751JM)

Here are is the cable/adapter I have used for mDP to DP connections successfully - you need DP 1.2 or newer.

Those are now over a year old, so if anyone has newer recommendations that they have personally used for mDP to DP please post them!

There is a SWIFT forum in the ROG forums as well:

Good luck, and please come back and let us know how it works out :)

I got the startech branded mini DP to DP cable to work with my vg248q and it does work up to 144Hz at 1080p. I wish that I had a swift to test but it is way out of my budget.
