Re these drivers , I have seen a few threads on other forums , claiming all sorts of unpleasantries .
I understand that Seagate is now up to SD 28 .
Chastity has SD 25 and 26 listed in her reference , and JRd1st hasn't listed it at all .
Can anyone provide any enlightening info on the status of these ?

I'm running SD28 on mine, it works fine.

Keep in mind this is firmware for the HDD itself, not drivers for Windows. Are you having issues with your HDD?

Thanks Yahooligan - OK firmware - thanks for the correction .
Don't think I have any real issues with the 2 HDD's .
Just a couple of threads I saw - maybe there are issues I'm unaware of .

Well, unless you personally are having issues you shouldn't update firmware, whether it's the HDD or laptop itself. I know some people like to make sure they're running the latest version of everything, but in the case of firmware it's generally bugfixes and support for new or future hardware. No problems and no hardware that applies to the update, no need to update the firmware. :)
