Hello all,

First time posting a thread. I own a ROG G750JM which has the GTX 860m. I'm currently setting up a triple monitor setup for MAINLY multitasking. 1 monitor is for my Mail Inbox, 1 monitor for browsing the web/Movies ETC and the last monitor for gaming (wont use 3 monitors for gaming).

I have done some research and it turns out that I would need:

1- HDMI cable for Monitor No. 1
2- Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter for Monitor No. 2
3- USB to HDMI adapter for Monitor No. 3

Is this correct ? would I be able to display 3 monitors at 1080p 60hz ? Would it be possible to use 4k ? What is the easiest and simplest way to do this ?

Would appreciate your valuable help and support guys :)

Best Regards,
Mahmood

Yes, you would be able to display 3 monitors simultaneously each at 1080p 60hz if you are running regular home and office productivity type apps.

The easiest way to connect the three monitors is the following:

1) HDMI 1.4 to HDMI cable

2)
option a) Mini DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI adapter cable
option b) Mini DisplayPort 1.2 to DisplayPort if your monitor has a DisplayPort
(the Mini DisplayPort uses the same port as the Thunderbolt port on your G750JM)

3) USB 3.0 to HDMI/DVI Video Graphics Adapter Card which is fairly inexpensive (cost about $40 - $50).
I listed a link below to an adapter listed on Amazon.

As for a 4K display? No.
